We collect only what we need to run your account and improve the site, we do not sell your information, and you can ask us to update or delete your data at any time. The sections below go into the detail.
When you create a Mahadev Book ID, you give us a few basic details: your name, a phone number, a username, and a password. We store your password in a protected form, not as plain text. As you use the site, we may also collect standard technical information such as your device type, browser, and general location, which helps us keep the platform secure and working well.
The free tools on our site — the net run rate calculator, the accumulator calculator, and the bankroll planner — run entirely in your browser. Anything you type into them stays on your device and is never sent to us or stored on our servers.
We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used. You can control or clear cookies through your browser settings. Turning off essential cookies may mean parts of the site, such as staying logged in, no longer work as expected.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary: with trusted service providers who help us run the platform, or where the law requires it. Any provider we use is expected to protect your data to the same standard we do.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including protected password storage and encrypted connections. No system is perfect, so we also ask you to do your part: choose a strong, unique password and keep your recovery number up to date. Mahadev Book is strictly for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please tell us and we will remove it.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make a meaningful change, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
